Whats going inside Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 ?

Now that Samsung has ended the leadership of Apple in the smart phone market with its latest smart phone Galaxy S2 beating iPhone 4 in many possible ways, the mobile market competition is all heated up with Apple and Sammy being the arch-rivals. Both Apple and Samsung are geared up to establish their leadership in the mobile market. While Apple is expected to release their iPhone 5, successor of the iPhone family this year, Sammy has countered them with the latest announcement of their upcoming successor to their most wildly popular S2 phone which we presume it to be the Galaxy S3 which is expected to release in the early 2012.

lets for a change, pre-compare both the products from the various sources that we have got.

Display:

• Apple might just upgrade the display of iPhone5 to 4 inch from the iPhone 4's 3.5 inch LED-lit LCD.
• Samsung already has a 4.3 inch Super Amoled display on the Galaxy S2 and might just maintain the same in their upcoming mobile or extend a little to 4.5 inch.
• And also, looks like samsung is going to incorporate their latest buzz in display technology, the Quantum-dot-display which is brighter and more efficient than all those display technologies in the market right now.
• Sorry Apple but Samsung is winning on this one.

Style:

• Apple is always known for their best designs and there is no turning this down. iPhone 5 is expected to adopt the form factor of iPhone 4 while some rumours say that there might be a complete re-design.
• On the other hand, looks like Apple is being very careful about the Antenna issue that created a buzz with the release of iPhone4 and iPhone 5 will come up with a metal chasis to avoid the same.
• Samsung should really work on their Design factor although their phones come with thinner dimensions and brighter displays.
• Apple beats Samsung with a bigger margin on this one

Processor:

• iPhone 5 is going to sport the Apple A5 processor which has an A9-cortex CPU and a PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU which is already introduced in the iPad2. The CPU is claimed to be double the speed and GPU 9 times faster than the A4. A5 is clocked at a speed of 1GHz while it provides flexibility to change the same to enhance battery.
• Samsung has sighted that they are planning to release a 2GHz phone while theres no big news about the processor yet.

Operating System:

• iPhone 5 will most likely come with iOS 5
• Samsung Galaxy S3 might be on the ice-cream version of the Google's Android OS

NFC:

• Apple freaks, don't worry. This time you will be able to use your mobile as a credit card when you buy iPhone 5 as iPhone 5 comes up with NFC feature
• Samsung already has an NFC feature in their Galaxy S2 and will continue it in Galaxy S3 also
• Apple is a little too late in this area.

More features like touch-gesture are to come into light considering the fact that Apple and Samsung are fighting a law- for the same. Watch this space for more.

On the whole, I feel Galaxy S3 will give a tough competition to iPhone 5 in the market because Apple products are always priced high.

Camera:

• iPhone 5 is switching to  an 8MP camera where as Galaxy S2 already have an 8MP camera, we will wait what it is going to be in S3.
